If you like the original Super Monkey Ball games, then this game should be right up your alley!

Background on Developer:

Hello all, my name is Seth and I have been developing games/projects off and on for a little over a decade at this point. Since 2019 I have been focusing more on using the Unity game engine. I typically develop my main projects as a solo developer. Robo Roller Rush is currently being developed solo. 

I do game development as a hobby since I work full time as an Industrial Design Engineer/Technician. I also have a small family and a home to care for so there are definitely dry spells of when projects can be worked on. I do have another project in progress which is a RE1/Silent Hill inspired game, but due to that timeline estimated to take a few years to complete, I decided to improve my skills further with Robo Roller Rush with a shorter time frame in mind for a final release date. 

That's a little about myself, so if you read this far, thank you for checking this out and I hope Robo Roller Rush will be a game you enjoy!

What has been done so far:

The past month has been spent working on getting the character controller to feel on par with Super Monkey Ball. 

This entails:

1. Player movement should be as fluid yet physic based as possible

2. Camera control is currently similar to SMB where player's movement direction/speed determine camera facing direction

What else?

-Some basic animations to show player idling walking and running have been implemented.

-Some basic level geometries similar to SMB being used for testing (These will be removed in further updates)

-Ui to show player's current speed. 


There will be more to come, and with your feedback, I hope to improve this game as I move forward!
